Isn’t it amazing when the 1000th post is about the new Mr. Oizo EP “Amicalement”? Yep it is and not only this fact, also this typical Oizo sound you’ll get is really really cool. After the not so funny odyssey, I’ve manged to download the EP even it was a long hour. Anyway, all the wait was totally worth.
The EP comes with four, unfortunately short originals. “Unicat“, which shows you the oizo sound you might know since his last EP’s. “Solid“, which features the voice of Marilyn Manson. Yes you read it right but the feature isn’t a surprise, because both worked together for his movie Wrong Cops (preview). “Waltz-E-More“, which is more like an slowed down interlude. And last but not least “Lovin’“, my favourite track. Just a simmple 70s like female vocal-loop, a groovie beat and growing synths. Catchy as hell.
