I shouldn’t use this kind of superlative but there is no other way around to say that this is possibly one of the most significant and best LP’s in 2013 or maybe in the past years. I haven’t heared such a complete and consistently brilliant album for a very long time. Half Danish, half Irish and half German Kölsch presents together with Mixmag the first full listening pleasure of his upcoming LP “1977“. A masterpiece.

Well known for his productions Rune Reilly Kolsch has sold millions of records all over the world under his many different monikers and production work includes some of the biggest artist in the world. Being a true techno head, paying homage to his underground roots is very important to him. So he started the slightly mysterious Tattoorecs with his brother Johannes Torpe, and together they are enjoying great success with their blend of romantic techno with strong influences from the heydays of Detroit and Chicago.

So KOMPAKT present “an extraordinary collection of club gems that introduces his earlier masterpieces to exclusive new material. Here, the epic, the rad and the snappy find themselves under one expertly crafted groove, making this album an essential choice for both home clubbers and floor hounds…”

Don’t miss the coming Monday, June 24th, the release date of this future classic long player. Available through any good records store, for example here via kompakt.fm/releases. Available as a special bundle with a CD/Vinyl/Beanie package.
