Today Funkin Matt hits the Beatport charts with his new two track EP “Monk/Arp” on Fjordin Rec. A really cool EP which gains full support by Larry Tee, Ron Carroll, Brodinski, Joost van Bellen, Roog, Tom Piper and many more! Both tracks comes with a melodic and complex synth line – “Monk” is more powerfull and “Arp” which is my favourite, got this beautiful synth! Love that! Listen what he told me about the EP:
“My inspiration for this next release was just an arpeggio. I would describe the EP as Arpeggiative Retro Banger, if you can say that. What to expect from the tracks is melodies in the form of Arpeggios, pumping basslines, acid 303, a “chinese” breakdown and lots of monks. “Monk” is the more aggressive track where “Arp” is more of a melodic pumper.”
