Alex Gopher is a musician, producer, sound engineer, DJ and a key figure of the beloved French Touch music scene. With more than 20 years experience in the music business, he created a lot of EPs, LPs and labels like Solid or Go 4 Music. Last-mentioned is also the label which released his latest work, the “Back To Basics EP”.
As you might know as a soundcloud follower of me or Alex Gopher, this EP is already out since a couple of weeks, but it hasn’t find his place on my page, which is just unacceptable. The EP comes with four songs, the eponymous Back to Basics, which is also my favourite. Do It, the slowest track of the EP, which is not a negative point. On & On and this special groove. And last but not least Fresh, which is basically a synth-train moving straight forward his way. All four songs combine this special characteristic of the French Touch. Yes Alex, let’s go back to basicsand hopefully more artists out there will follow you!
