Swick is Melbourne’s own well shaken can of bubbly fizzy drink. With an arsenal of releases on labels such as Mad Decent, Main Course, No Brainer just to name a few. The young producer has quickly gained a reputation for tight drums, energetic synths and catchy vocal chops.
The latest two track EP is already out on Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs‘ label called Nice Age. The name giving track Crystal Palace is kind of a happy-rave-anthem, playful and a high-BPM pounder. The second song is Salah’s Groove, also a punding rave anthem settled in an orientalic setting. Both are crazy and just massive.
“I get a buzz from Swick’s music, it feels a million miles away from the too often conservative current house and techno sound in Europe at the moment. Which is good, as he’s Australian.” – TEED. Get your copy on Beatport – now!
