Malente is proud to present No Brainer Records first album release “No Brainer Nuggets Vol.1”, a collection of the label’s biggest tunes, most underestimated b-sides, greatest remixes and an outlook as to what’s to come with six exclusive new tracks.
On board for this trip we have Myd (Club Cheval), Xinobi (Discotexas), Worthy (Dirtybird), Canblaster (Club Cheval), Riton (Phantasy Sound), Light Year (Bang Gang), Douster (Mad Decent), NT89 (Bad Life), SCNTST (Boys Noize), Keith & Supabeatz (Southern Fried) and of course our label’s very own artists Slap In The Bass, Rubix, Lars Moston, Wafa vs Wolfie, Swick, Say Dubai, Klipar, Twist It!, Malente & Zero Cash.
As if this was not enough we added six amazing exclusive tracks by new cats and artists new to No Brainer Records. Some of these will see an EP release later this year, others you’ll just be able to find on “No Brainer Nuggets Vol.1”.
Them Jeans from LA debuts on the label with his mind-blowing “Vowel Play”, a deep grooving bass track with some hypnotic impact. Mysterious PL€A$UR€ sound like they’ve been injected with an overdose of music everyday since they were born. Now they try to channel their countless ideas and distillate them into tracks named after birds like “Albatross”.
Another newbie on the label is D.A.M.B. who gives us some rhythmical “Advice” here, so listen up. Colonel Error shows us what “Kingston House” is about. You can’t help but move to this deep house headbanger. Also new on our roster is Mendoza from Hamburg. He sounds as if he’s in the UK with one foot already. I’ve never played a floor that didn’t embrace “Blush”.
Final exclusive new tune on our mighty “Nuggets” is by LKiD feat. Surfdisco. We dig stuff that redefines genres. File “Everything” under Deep House Acid Bass.
