CYU – Africa Drum EP out on Vocabula Recordings
The good guys from Vocabula Recordings present their latest fresh new EP from CYU (Check Your Understanding), which is according to the labels philosophy another free download from four talented germans.
CYU’s own definition is settled in the genre of ‘jackin techno’, so that’s what the guys deliver with the original track – jackin’ kicks which will instantly banging your head. The original is not to dark, because that’s the part of Fellow Chive‘s remix. He gives Africa Drum this warehouse-like touch. This one is actually my favourite of the EP. Next up is 3PungdKurt, it’s his debut on my age and a really good one aswell. Last but not least the remix from Flashdisco, which gave me a short flashback of “Strip Steve & Das Glow – Calcium”. Maybe just some moments but it was possibly one of his inspirations.
In a nutshell, the whole EP is more than worth to have a listen to and you should instantly follow the label and/or the artists on Facebook and Soundcloud for further releases. Grab the download while it’s on, enjoy!
