Serge P present his latest EP on Police Records called “Back in the Day EP”. After several originals and remixes for the like of Brooklyn Fire Records he’s here with the brand new release which includes 6 tracks from 124 – 144 BPM. Every track is different and tells a story with house-, techno- and acid- elements itself. Great stuff, just grab it where you want, it’s out on any major store.

5. Back In The Day
6. PINATSTP
Premiered on Mixmag some weeks ago, this was just instantly on my must-have-list. The German Roman Flügel been in the game for about two decades, putting together cranky house and techno cuts on labels like Ongaku Musik, Cocoon Recordings just to name a few. The simplicity is amazing.
Big room techno tracks usually convey an ample, gripping, heavy on the chest type of feeling; some can even be as emotionally impactful as stadium chants. Hot on the heels of his “Complex” EP, French prodigy Deapmash teams up with Raito for two peak-time, memorable techno anthems. Joining the two on remix duty are the immensely versatile and inventive Strip Steve and BS1, both of BNR fame. All four tracks are just insanely good. Just grab your copy now in case you haven’t already.
Let’s finish this post with another two free downloads. Both are totally different compared to eachother but both are also really great songs. The first comes from Trouble & Bass head AC Slater, who remixed Rome Fortune & OG Maco in his unique style. And the last comes from Hanum Tribe, who made this killer track called Skala. Another must-have!
