Three originators of Japanese techno music teamed up to release new original recordings in 2015 – so Disq Clash was born. They sublimate Chicago house and Detroit techno, which they were influenced by, into new sound.
Disq Clash is formed by Chester Beatty, DJ Shufflemaster and DJ YAMA. Chester Beatty and DJ Shufflemaster are well-known track makers who started their career from 90’s and have released albums on German techno label “Tresor”. DJ Yama is the label owner of and producer for Japanese techno label “Sublime Records”, which has been producing great techno artists like Ken Ishii. The legendary Chicago ghetto house, DJ Funk joined the team as a guest vocal, after a number of times of collaborations with Chester Beatty, under the project Da Royal Funkasta.
The original Turbo Clash is a high-powered, 303 laced Chicago party bomb, while Shufflemaster’s pair of remixes take things to Detroit and beyond. Turbo Recordings sublabel Twin Turbo will release this monster on 23rd March – so don’t miss it!
