Before we start with the latest and best mixtapes of the last week, I thought it will be interesting to make a little excursion into the past. I stumbled upon this record from Frankie Knuckles WBMX 102.7 FM Hotmix show back in 1986 and even I wasn’t born there, it is really amazing to see how many parts of the music are still there – massive. The same is true for the Dr. Motte mix for Planet “EBY” Berlin in 1993 apart from being already born. Especially the acid parts, which would work the same today. Back to the future and here we go with Djedjotronic and his Interstate 101 launch party set. Followed by the massive mix from RYME for Discobelle. Plus many other artists like Valy Mo, Glenn Astro, Molecule, Kaptain Cadillac and Diskollektive.
