Moonbootica – Beats And Lines (Video & Remixes)

Moonbootica

Moonbootica present their latest single called “Beats And Lines”, the first single of their upcoming LP “Shine”. The guys from Hamburg start their bio with a quotation from Mike Tyson, which made my day “I can sell out Madison Square Garden masturbating.” – seems like a massive slogan for a DJ duo. Anyway, let’s switch back to the single, which seems like they’re still in the mood of making music that sounds like years ago. Ok this really does not read well but it’s a compliment. For me it’s more remarkable to keep yourself and your music remain faithful than riding the commercial-wave.

So they keep the electro sound in line and bring back one of my favourite Italians, Keith & Supabeatz, who are the first remixers of Beats And Lines. It feels like years after their last release but it is also great to see that they are still in the game. I’ve missed them and their remix sounds like so much fun! Next up, two new names for me – Pele And Shawnecy a Munich based duo which settle their style in “Urbanhouse Techhouse” – well a slowed down version but with that massive kick. Let’s keep an eye on them! The second is BE//LA, a 19-years old Hamburg based upcoming techno star. I’ve listen to his soundcloud and for me there is a lot of potential – like you can hear in his very synthy-Interstellar Space-version – so be sure to keep an eye on him as well! And the last two remixes of this five massive ones comes from Turbo Turbo and TAI. As a follower of my blog you’ll know that I’m a big fan of the two Bremen based techno producer. As well as this classy remix! And let’s end this with the festival banger by TAI, I bet you’ll here this many times played on several festivals.

Their new LP will be out at the 13th June on Berlins Four Music, the label founded by German Die Fantastischen Vier. You can preorder the album on iTunes or Amazon if you want. Oh and don’t miss the video which is more like a short movie. It’s also the second part and to understand the story behind, don’t miss the first video for These Days Are Gone. Both originals are also available on iTunes, just check their artist page. Enjoy!
