Jimmy Edgar‘s Ultramjic present the ninth release and also the second own EP by Berlin’s hottest talent Chambray. After some remixes for Mr. Magnetik or Solvane and his massive debut EP on Kompass Recordings, he unleashed this four-track single “Rub”. The titletrack was premiered through Jimmy Edgar’s Essential Mix on BBC Radio 1 (which you can download here) and since then I’m totally in love with it!

To be honestly, this is exactly what I want to listen to right now – there’s no one else (at the moment) who suite my taste of music like this. To quote the official release: “… he turns out some uproarious, vintage-touched house with considerable bass heft that would do Chicago-style veterans like Steve Poindexter proud …”. It is this fresh and simple sound that I’ve missed, while everything sounds the same, recycled or cheesy. So it’s needless to say that this EP get my full support – 100% buy-recommendation. The “Rub EP” is already out and available on Beatport. Get you copy now!
