Attaque – Shine EP

Are the following two tracks “Dope”, “Perfect” or “Violent”? Sure they’re, not only beacause A-Track, Mumbai Science or Tommie Sunshine said this. This is the way techno will sound in 2012! Guys If you haven’t heared about Attaque, I promise you’ve missed one of the biggest producers in 2011! After his last EP’s like “Moderate” or “Light Falls” which were presented by the upcoming and raising label “Bad Life” he drops his next two track bomb! Especially “Sensor” is the track I would go crazy on the dancefloor! This is exactly why I waste my time and money and doing this blog stuff! For this kind of innovative sounds!

The EP is available on BEATPORT! So go and grab your copy! Support him and Bad Life!

Show Tracklist
Funny old life isn’t it? Imagine this: one month you’re busking on Brighton sea front with a Casio demo and a tin whistle, and the next you find yourself thrust into the vanguard of electronic music – a techno Susan Boyle.

Whilst hurrah’s cascade from Tiga, Erol and Fake Blood, Radio 1 and Mixmag foam at the mouth like giddy rabid spaniels. Your second offering Moderate racks up a gazillion soundcloud plays in a matter of days and you get talked of in the kind of wunderkind superlatives usually reserved for Gesaffelstein. You’re the beacon of Future Techno.

Would it change you?

In Essex, the modest ATTAQUE now can’t even pop out for pint of milk without being mobbed. Boy racers tear around the streets banging out Moderate, and The Halstead Gazette continually speculates over which TOWIE slag will be next to bag his affections.

But Attaque isn’t interested in celebrity. He just wants to make druggy late-night warehouse music. Shine shows him exploring a purer future techno sound and it’s a behemoth of a track. Spears of rave joust for position with chugging basses whilst incessant rising bleeps turn the tension up to “HOLY SHIT!”
