Dems – House

I’m always looking for different kind of music and it doesn’t have to be the typical sounds or genres you will get here otherwise and the new EP on (the lovely) Bad Life Records get a special attention! I really love the melancholic touch with this melody! But for all of you who can’t handle it and want more techno, they will get it with the remixes from Evil Nine, TWR72 and Jean Nipon! Can’t wait but the release will be at the 14th November!

Show Tracklist
It’s been highlighted by certain factors of the media that we tend to get rather smug in our press releases.

Those people should probably look away now.

Look at us, we signed a band… And Dems are incredibly good.

This brand-new London three-piece of multi-instrumentalists David Gardener, Duncan Mann and Dan Moss make stirring electronica embellished with interweaving melodies, elements of warp-esque IDM and the kind of bone-rattling bass now synonymous with their city.

Their debut EP House is a wonderful marriage of blissed-out guitars and forward thinking beats whilst Dan’s astonishing vocal will cut right through you.

Performance is at the heart of Dems, and their impassioned live show blew us away, showing a band evolving at a pace far beyond the short time that they’ve been together.

BBC Radio 1’s Rob Da Bank discovered an early demo ‘Lioness’ and made it his record of the week, whilst XFM and NME Radio have also been quick to back the band.

Their debut EP House will be available digitally and on limited 7” vinyl, from November 14th through Bad Life.

Remixes coming soon from Evil Nine, TWR72 & Jean Nipon.
